contacts in XML-Format

Hi List,

Upgraded to Ubuntu 11.04 last week. Things didn't get any better so I
decided to return to where things worked: I installed 10.04.2.

After applying the patch mentioned in the wiki and fiddeling with the
configs (I set the "absolute" paths to the address-book, calender,
instead of leaving them at "default"), I got things syncing, sort of.
Some Contacts just won't sync.

I used the sqllite-Browser to have a look at the file "change.db" which
ist found under "~/.opensync/group1".

It looks to me, that contacts in the format "XML-contact" don't get
synced.

The strange thing is, that on my pda (HTC with Windows mobile 6.1 prof.)
during syncing, it says "one contact synced" but it does not show up in
the address list.

Any ideas what I can do, to get the syncing working (again)?

Perhaps this should be addressed to the opensync-List?
Anyone active on that list?

Best regards,

Achim

Most of the fun we've been having lately is because opensync is
basically unmaintained. Other things, like evolution, are changing, and
opensync isn't being modified to keep up. I don't know what's going to
happen to opensync, but I've usually concentrated on the connection side
of synce, rather than syncing, so there is not much I can do on this, I
just don't have the time. Any efforts are welcomed, and please try the
opensync list, but don't hold your breath over there.
